Fernando Grow is officially the brazilian champion of poker in 2013. Hours after win the High Roller tournament and take the lead of the ranking BSOP - with 2,585 points, against 2,000 to Luiz Carlos dos Santos and 1,855 to Ramon Sfalsin - veteran secured the trophy after the vice leader was eliminated from the tournament Last Chance High, on the afternoon of Wednesday.
Luiz Carlos needed almost a miracle to retake the lead in the last day of BSOP. The player had to cheer for the tournament have a field larger than 200 players and still win the tournament.
Ramon Sfalsin, who also reached the final stretch of the BSOP disputing the trophy, choose no compete in the last events.
Grow was also the Brazilian champion in Pot -Limit Omaha (PLO).
